Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

A Welcoming Community

Among Unitarian Universalists, you will find people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds. Please use the website to learn more about our beliefs and our activities. We invite you to attend a service and discover NUUF for yourself.

Services

Services are held every other Sunday starting at 10:00 a.m. at our Fellowship, located at 8625 Peggy's Lane, just off Woodruff Road, in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Directions

The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Near the conclusion of most services, we provide an opportunity for those present to share their thoughts and pose questions to the presenter. Coffee hour follows each service. We invite members and guests to stay for snacks and conversation.

In December we hold a Sunday holiday service featuring a variety of music and a meal afterward. In late August we hold a community commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

Religious Education (RE)

On alternate Sundays we meet at 10:00 a.m. to discuss topics related to religious and ethical issues, plus current events. Using the Great Courses program, we consider ideas that contribute to the spirit and meaning of our group.

Check our “Calendar” in the menu bar above to see the current topic.

Special Events

Besides potlucks and a variety of social activities, we host Thanksgiving dinner and a New Year's Eve celebration.

We help to serve the Community Table dinner at St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Minocqua on the 3rd Tuesday of January, May, and September.

Our fellowship takes on a number of Social Justice projects throughout the year.

Events are listed on the “Calendar” on the menu bar.
